Client Website Launch: GAEL
January 31st, 2010 - by gordonWe just launched a website for GAEL, the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders. GAEL is a statewide “umbrella” organization, composed of six professional affiliate associations for school leaders such as superintendents, principals, college administrators and other school leadership personnel.
The organization is an incredibly valuable resource to its members, offering governmental advocacy, educational programs and conferences, networking, and much more. The website helps to drive membership, provide members with various online resources, and detail the specific offline conference and networking opportunities.
The previous site was both dated and cumbersome, neither effectively illustrating the benefits of membership nor clearly offering the path to rich information available to existing members.

The new site offers a clean approach that better explains the organization and its affiliates, and provides very clear paths to accessing the deep levels of available information.
Additionally, the entire site is controlled by GAEL using a highly intuitive content management system for editing.
Once a section or task has been selected, a simple content editor offers complete control of the text and imagery on that page.
According to the client, “The CMS in this website ROCKS! It is the easiest thing I have ever used yet has the greatest capabilities ever!” Now that’s the kind of thing we like to hear.
