TheraSeed

Theragenics Corporation® is a medical device company serving the surgical products and prostate cancer treatment markets. Theragenics approached Spitfire about designing a website that would highlight their sponsorship of the Honor Flight Network in an effort to drive demand for the Theraseed® product. The key target audiences were WWII and Vietnam Veterans. The core theme: "To Honor. To Cure." Goals for the site were clearly outlined: to increase Theraseed® brand awareness and sales volume, grow new physician accounts, drive queries to the Theraseed® call center, generate positive media coverage, expand receptivity to Theraseed&reg; and maximize exposure to their target veteran audience, all the while showing that Theragenics cares. Spitfire took on this mission with great enthusiasm with a personal goal to honor in our own way those that have served to protect our freedoms. On this site, you will find information about the Honor Flights sponsored by Theragenics® that will transport more than 400 veterans to the National World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. An online journal was designed to allow Eric L. Haney, Command Sergeant Major (ret.), 20 year Army veteran and one of the original operators of Delta Force to chronicles his experiences meeting with veterans nationwide, sharing their stories, and educating veterans about prostate treatment options. Ultimately the Company’s hope is that the information provided will help them make an informed decision when selecting a treatment—one that offers a cure and maintains their quality of life.
